Meet the Nurse / Director

Nadia Mahmood

Registered Nurse

Nadia is a Registered Nurse and a Director at MYMA, committed to providing personalized care to each veteran and ensuring their needs are met with respect and dignity.

She has experience working in the disability sector, aged care, acute medical and surgical wards in public and private hospitals, alcohol and other drugs units, inpatient mental health, and community nursing.

She is known for her strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling her to build trusting relationships with veterans and their families. She demonstrates empathy, cultural sensitivity, and a genuine commitment to understanding each individual’s unique needs.

Nadia works collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams and values open communication to support coordinated and effective care delivery. In her leadership role, she provides guidance and support to staff, promotes a positive team environment, and encourages continuous learning and professional development.

She is highly organised, adaptable, and able to manage complex situations with professionalism and calmness. Her problem-solving abilities and critical thinking support effective decision-making in diverse clinical settings. As a person, she is compassionate, respectful, and dedicated to empowering veterans to maintain independence, dignity, and quality of life.
